ALEXANDRINA - A LIGHTNING BOLT
Documentary. 11 min. Directed by Keila Serruya. 2022. Brazil
Alexandrina - A Lightning Bolt turns the cinema of invention into a fertile field of contestation, which dares to tear up the records of the perverse and lying past, where Alexandrina, a black woman from the Amazon, who had previously been reduced to an object of study, emptied of her vast repertoire of knowledge and then thrown into the limbo of supposed oblivion; now is the present!
